ThreadBridge vs Conclude
Conclude is the other self-serve Slack and Microsoft Teams bridge with published prices, and it does more than ThreadBridge: direct messages, file sharing, translation, and ticketing on top of the chat bridge. The biggest difference is how you pay. Conclude charges per user; ThreadBridge charges a monthly price per connection, however many people are in the channels.
| ThreadBridge | Conclude | |
|---|---|---|
| Pricing | Free for 1 connection; then $39/month per connection with unlimited channels. No per-user pricing. | Starter $12 per user per month (5 to 10 users); Pro $16 per user per month (5-user minimum); Enterprise $240 per user per year (10-user minimum) |
| Who is billed | Nobody per head: the price covers everyone in the bridged channels | Active users. Inside one company, every member of a connected channel counts. Between two companies both using Conclude (its Bridge feature), members on both sides count, whether or not they post. |
| Connecting to another company | Included on every plan; the other side approves once and never needs an account | External channels: 2 on Starter, 10 on Pro (more at $5/month each). External users aren't billed. Bridge between two Conclude customers is Enterprise only. |
| What's bridged | Channels and threaded replies | Channels, direct messages and group chats, files, reactions and @mentions, with translation into 60 languages |
| Beyond chat | Nothing: a bridge only | Ticketing apps, Jira and Zendesk integrations, and AI agents |
| Compliance paperwork | Security and data-handling documentation; no SOC 2 report yet | SOC 2 Type II report and a HIPAA BAA on Enterprise |
| Trial | 14 days of the paid plan, starting when the first message crosses a bridge, not at sign-up | 14 days, full access, from the start |
| Message content | Never stored: see how ThreadBridge handles security | Not stated on Conclude's product pages; check its security documentation |
What the pricing difference looks like
Take a 50-person team whose engineers are on Slack and whose operations staff are on Teams, sharing a handful of channels. On Conclude Pro that's 50 users at $16, about $800 a month, and it grows with every person added to a bridged channel. On ThreadBridge it's one connection, so $39 a month with as many channels as it needs, and it stays there as the team grows.
The same goes for agencies and MSPs connecting to many clients: ThreadBridge prices by the number of client organizations, not by how many of your people talk to them.
When Conclude is the better fit
If you need direct messages, group chats or files to cross between Slack and Teams, ThreadBridge can't do that today and Conclude can. The same is true if you want ticketing or translation alongside the bridge, or if your procurement process needs a SOC 2 report or a HIPAA BAA now.
When ThreadBridge is the better fit
When the bridged channels have more than a handful of people in them, or you connect to many outside organizations, a price per connection costs less and doesn't change as people come and go. ThreadBridge also never asks the other company for an account or a license: one approval from their Slack or Teams admin, and the bridge runs.
